Strange Attractors 2… sounds like a game used to teach kids to not talk to strangers, but no. It is a game involving the mysterious force of gravity, and the near-unnatainable force, anti-gravity. The point of the game is to collect gate-keys, which are shaped much like the spiky glob balls that we all loved to get from the fair that were attached to the long rubber-like string and would do tricks like it were a yo-yo. Now, because of the fact that after Strange Attractors, it says 2, I’m assuming that their was a first or an attempt at the first. I never played it, or even heard of it.

So without any further ado, let me review this game. Now, when I review a game, I like to review it in seperate parts (i.e. graphics, gameplay, storyline, etc.), so here I go:
I give the graphics an 8.5/10, for a few reasons. The graphics aren’t great like some next-gen games, but they aren’t as bad as older games. The graphics are 3D, and they are good, but they aren’t realistic like some people like. They are cartoon-ish, but some people prefer that, and some like that. I do not, but I can deal with that kind of stuff. But other than that, the graphics are beautiful and have been put a lot of work into.

Okay, onto sound, and for this game, I give the sound/music a 5/10. Now to be fair, I don’t think that the sound/music is that important because you can just put on your favorite rock song and mute the crap that’s coming from the game. Anyways, I care more about the graphics and the gameplay, because you can’t mute that and play something else.
Next up, we have Performance/Lag, which I give a solid 9/10. If you have a fairly good computer, then this game should play pretty well, but some other computers may not play it so well. Not much lag to speak of other in the opening music, but nothing more than that.

Value. I give Value a 7/10. If you want the demo, it’s free, but if you want the whole game, you have to pay $15, which isn’t too bad. That’ll get you a month of play on most MMORPG’s. You can download it straight to your computer and it doesn’t take long to install. Now… I wouldn’t say that this game is completely worth the $15, but I’d say that if you want something to do when you’re bored, maybe you should just get the demo.
Finally, we come to the gameplay, which I tend to care about the most. I give gameplay a whopping 9.5/10. The gameplay is strategic, and not easy, which I like about a game. It isn’t perfect, but it is good. Though it sounds like an easy game, but it isn’t. The gameplay is indepth and you’ll spend hours trying to get through the various levels.

So, to finish the game review, I’d like to average this out and give it an end review. I give this game a 9.6/10. The graphics are good, the sound is okay, the performance is good, and the gameplay is great. This game is good, but probably isn’t worth the entire $15 dollars that it goes for. Maybe $10 dollars, or to make it seem cheaper, but it really isn’t, $9.95. Well, that’s my review for the game Strange Attractors 2. Have fun playing!
